How do you download an audio file?
1. right click on link and select 'save as' to
save the file to your computer
2. open the file in a music player such as itunes or windows media player
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio file that is
"broadcast" (like television) across the internet to subscribers.
Why are you
podcasting lectures?
Over the years brothers have given excellent,
informative and edifying exhortations. We wanted those words of wisdom to be
preserved and shared. Podcasts are simply the most efficient and convenient way
to distribute these lectures. Individuals are delivered a lecture from the
archive each week without having to come back to the website. Additionally, the
file that is delivered is ready to be placed on a portable music device or
burned to a CD for listening away from the computer.
How do I subscribe
to the podcast?
You can subscribe using one of three methods.
Method 1 for iTunes users:
1. On the
podcast page click on the iTunes
icon - this will launch iTunes
2. Choose subscribe
Method 2 for iTunes users:
1. Open iTunes on your computer
2. Go to the iTunes store
3. Search the terms Unamended or
Christadelphian
4. Choose subscribe
Method 3 for non-iTunes users:
1. On the
podcast page click on the RSS
feed button
2. You will be given the option of
subscribing using an aggregator (if you have one) or subscribing using your
internet browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox).
3. If you use your web browser, you will not
automatically download new lectures. You will only be notified new content
exists and you can listen to them over the internet without downloading (i.e.
streaming).
How do I
open / print a pdf file?
PDF
files require Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free program available
here).
How do I search for a word or phrase in a pdf file?
With the document open in Adobe Reader press
Ctrl + F or choose find under the edit menu.
How do I copy text from
a pdf file?
Under the Tools
menu choose Select & Zoom then choose the Select Tool. Highlight the text you
want to copy and press Ctrl + C.

How do you select
what to put on the website?
There is no systematic plan. We post audio from schools and gatherings we
have attended, or from tapes we have or that were given to us. Our only
criterion is that the content is doctrinally sound. As such, we have not posted
all the material made available to us. If you have tapes
you would like to see posted please
let us know. Alternatively, if
your audio or writings are posted on this site and you would prefer they were
not
let us know as well that we may
remedy the situation.
The lecture mentioned
handouts or slides, where can I get a copy?
If we have access to slides or handouts we
have posted them as pdf files along with the lectures. Unfortunately many of the
talks achieved here pre-date powerpoint, so older handouts or transparencies may
be lost. The best hope is to contact the speaker. |
